Schiffer & Buus APC proudly announces that Quan has affiliated with the firm as of counsel in its patent, trademark, copyright and intellectual property management practice areas. Quan concentrates his practice in patent procurement, patent opinion work (patentability/validity/freedom to operate analysis), trademark and copyright procurement and opinions, and intellectual property licensing and management. In his patent practice, Quan has a particular expertise in biotechnology, chemistry, and medical devices. Quan is presently a partner at the firm of Nguyen & Tarbet, and was formerly a partner at Cozen O'Connor, a national law firm based in Philadelphia. Quan also has in-house experience at Isis Pharmaceuticals, where he was Assistant Director of Patents.
